What a year it’s been for Travels with Gannon & Wyatt. The first three books in the series are now in print and available to readers, Botswana won the 2013 National Outdoor Book Award, and Patti Wheeler and I kicked off our school tour, visiting thousands of students across the country.

We wrapped up this exciting year with stops at several schools in Florida. We want to thank all of the teachers, parents and students for their hospitality and support. As authors, there’s no better motivation that to witness a student’s reaction to our book series in person. We’d like to give a special thanks to Pickettville Elementary, Windy Hill Elementary, Highlands Elementary, Sacred Heart School, Pine Crest School, and the Benjamin School.
